Journalism training and reporting project on EU integration
The Centre for European Values, CEV, has launched its first project in October 2008 with aim to improve standards of journalism in reporting of European integration, and to improve understanding of the European Union, European values and standards among the mainstream population, thereby challenging a lot of misunderstanding. Combining training seminars for journalists with practical reporting experience, Journalism training and reporting project on EU integration aims to foster quality coverage on complex reform issues with regional and Europe-wide dimensions, encourage regional networking among journalists and support thinking Europe through its problems, changing and mistakes.
CEV magazine, as a part of the project, is an online magazine contents in-depth journalistic articles , news analysis and comments on achievement of European values and standards in Serbia and the region of Western Balkans. Once per week, CEV issues CEV magazine, in Serbian and English language, containing all the reports, news analysis and comments that were published during the week. It is sent by email to registered subscribers but the articles are free of charge for dissemination and republication in local and international media as well. Only obligation for dissemination and republication in other media is mention of articles' source - CEV magazine.
