Visitors are expected to read the Terms of Use on a regular basis, so it is assumed that visitors of the www.cev.eu.com website, or of any of its sections, will at all times be familiar with the current rules, and that they understand them completely.
No sections of the www.cev.eu.com website can be used for illegal activities, or to promote such activities. The Center for European Values, CEV, allows its visitors to use the contents of the www.cev.eu.com website with the best intentions. All visitors have the right to use the contents of the www.cev.eu.com website free of charge, as long as they do not violate the Terms of Use.
This website is made up of authorized content, the content of partners, free content, links to other websites, and content created by visitors. The www.cev.eu.com website publishes content with good intent and all content of the website can be used on one's own responsibility and the Centre for European Values can not take responsibility for any kind of damage incurred by the visitor.
CEV holds copyright on all authorized material (articles, audio material, photos, graphics, illustrations, visual material, databases, and names, images and logos identifying CEV). Unauthorized use of any portion of the website is considered a violation of the CEV's copyrights and can lead to legal actions.
Currently, a part of CEV's Journalism training and reporting project on EU integration is publishing online CEV magazine. The articles of CEV magazine are free of charge for dissemination and republication in local and international media, with obligation to specify their source - CEV magazine. Use of photos, graphics, illustrations and all other visual material published in CEV magazine requires the prior written permission of CEV.
The www.cev.eu.com website contains links to websites outside of the CEV's ownership. Our website provides those links with good intentions and cannot be held responsible for the material outside of the www.cev.eu.com website.
CEV's website takes the maximum measures to protect the privacy of its users. CEV obligates itself that it will not distribute, nor sell users' data received while they are actively using the site.
CEV can, in accordance with the law, gather certain data about its users received while using the portal (exclusively data about the computer and the internet provider) or data entered during the process of registration on its mailing list. CEV uses this data in order to inform itself about users of its website, and in that way, improve the website and its contents additionally intended and adapted for the public which visits it. On the basis of this data, we find out which contents are most popular with which audience.
CEV obligates the entering of private information, such as e-mail addresses and first and last names (gathered in CEV's mailing list), and will not sell or distribute such information without the users' permission, with the exception of demographic material for groups of users without the handing out of private information. Every user can subscribe on CEV's mailing list but unsubscribe in any time as well.
CEV has an obligation to protect the privacy of the users of its website, except in the case of serious violations of the terms of use of the www.cev.eu.com website or illegal activity on the part of the user.
